Yes, I'm doing one of those super annoying 'Long time, no see' journal entries... Well it has been a while and I haven't been very active and I'm sorry to those few watchers I have that actually keep up with me. Anyways, I'm still drawing! I'm just extremely slow at the moment because of school and I've just been to New Zealand for a couple of weeks. Not gonna lie I cried at Hobbiton! Stay tuned to a special Frodo portrait I was supposed to upload like three weeks ago, in a short while. I love all my watchers and one person that I actually know on DA! Just watched an incredible film documentary Blackfish. It's about the truth of killer whales in captivity. It's perfect for environmental and animal guru's. I was truly shocked at some of the footage and I now have a much stronger understanding of what it's like to be a whale living in a bathtub. I was never a huge fan of the idea of watching whales do unnatural tricks anyway, would much rather watch the males have pointed fins rather than sad, frowning ones and see them free in the wild living a normal social life. I think I need to try a new brand of paper. I'm using cheap crap which doesn't seem to pick up enough layers of colour. What do people consider a good brand of coloured pencil paper? (something I can get in Australia or even buy online). I've been looking at this one: http://www.dickblick.com/products/stonehenge-drawing-paper-pads/ Has anybody used this? it sounds really good
